League of Legends

League of Legends is one of my main competitive games that I play. I took quite a long hiatus before, but just recently got back into it. Sometimes it is anger-inducing, but considering my masochistic nature of enjoying souls like games as much as I do, I don't really mind. You don't have to get angry by yourself though, you can get up to four of your friends to play against other people. The amount of characters you can play and playstyles there are is quite impressive. It's all on the same map, but the map can change depending on how you play the game, which I think is cool. If you want a micro-intensive game with good variability in playstyles, play League of Legends.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

I used to play Rainbow Six Siege quite a bit, but stopped due to internet reasons. It's one of the most well known first person shooters in the e-sports scene. Good amount of maps, a decent amount of playstyles, along with an ever-changing way of playing makes the game definitely replayable. If you want a fun and competitive first person shooter that has different "heroes" so to speak with their own abilities, play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

Nosgoth

Nosgoth was quite an interesting game, and just thinking about it gives me nostalgia. The gameplay was cool and in my opinion was relatively new on the market. It's a shame it didn't do as well as it should've, because it closed down within a year or two of releasing. The map variation was nice and the different factions and characters you can play was definitely a change of pace from what I was used to, which is probably why I enjoyed it so much. If you wanted a fun vampires versus humans back in the middle ages, you should've played Nosgoth.
